Everlasting 4000-A Quick Opening Boiler Blowdown Valve
The Everlasting 4000-A Quick Opening Boiler Blowdown Valve is designed for fast intermittent bottom blowdown in industrial steam boiler systems. Its quick-opening straight-lever operation allows rapid discharge of boiler water containing sludge, scale, sediment, and other contaminants that accumulate during boiler operation.
The Model 4000-A features a rugged cast-iron body, threaded end connections, and a straight-through flow design. It is rated ANSI Class 250 with a maximum ASME boiler blow-off pressure of 200 PSI. Everlasting’s rotating-disc design provides self-wiping action to help clear boiler scale from the seating area, while the self-lapping sealing action is designed to improve sealing performance through continued operation. Available in sizes from 1 inch through 2-1/2 inches, the 4000-A is suited for boiler maintenance, replacement, and severe-service blowdown applications.
