Everlasting 4060A Slow Opening Boiler Blowdown Valve
The Everlasting 4060A, officially designated Model 4060-A, Slow Opening Boiler Blowdown Valve is designed for controlled bottom blowdown in industrial steam boiler systems. Its hand-wheel operation provides gradual valve opening for controlled discharge of boiler water containing sludge, scale, sediment, and other accumulated impurities.
The Model 4060-A features a cast iron body, threaded end connections, straight-through flow design, and hand-wheel operator. It is rated ANSI Class 250 with a maximum allowable boiler blow-off pressure of 200 PSI according to ASME Code. The slow-opening design uses an Acme screw thread to provide gradual flow control, while Everlasting’s self-wiping and self-lapping disc design helps prevent boiler scale and debris from interfering with the sealing surfaces.
The Everlasting 4060A is available in sizes from 1 inch through 2-1/2 inches and is suitable for boiler maintenance, replacement, and controlled blowdown applications.
