The Everlasting 4001A, officially designated Model 4001-A, Quick Opening Flanged Boiler Blowdown Valve is designed for rapid bottom blowdown in industrial steam boiler systems.
The Model 4001-A features a cast iron body, flanged end connections, and straight-lever operation for fast discharge of boiler water containing sludge, scale, sediment, and other accumulated impurities. It is rated ANSI Class 250 with a maximum blow-off pressure of 200 PSI according to ASME Code.
Available in sizes from 1 inch through 2-1/2 inches, this valve is suited for boiler maintenance, replacement, and severe-service blowdown installations requiring flanged piping connections.
