The United Brass Works 34031 Short Shank Water Gauge Fixture Set is designed for visual water-level monitoring in steam boilers and industrial boiler systems. This 1/2-inch gauge assembly combines a short-shank configuration with ball-check protection and a ball valve for blow-off service.
Rated for 250 WSP at temperatures up to 406°F and 400 WOG, the Model 34031 features rising-stem operation and includes a Model 905AS upper fixture, Model 946AXFS lower fixture, and 14-inch steel protector rods. The ball check helps reduce leakage if the gauge glass breaks, while the blow-off ball valve allows convenient draining and cleaning of the gauge assembly. It is suitable for boiler maintenance, replacement, and new water-level gauge installations.
